The problem isn't your room, it's the light
Most rooms are lit by a single fixture in the middle of the ceiling, pointing down. It lights everything the same way: the table, the sofa, the walls, the faces around you. The room is perfectly visible and perfectly flat.
Warm, lived-in light doesn't come from a brighter bulb. It comes from a shade that filters, a material that softens, and a light hung at the right height. Woven rattan breaks up direct light and throws patterns across the walls. Travertine and marble send it down in a calm pool. Fabric spreads it evenly, with no glare.
Real materials, kept as they are
Our shades are made from rattan, travertine, marble, natural fabric, jute and hemp. Woven pieces are shaped strip by strip, so the weave is never perfectly regular and the tone varies slightly from one light to the next. Stone keeps its pores and veins. Over the years, rattan slowly deepens in color.
These variations are not flaws. A shade molded in plastic has none of them, and you notice the difference at first glance.
A selection, not a catalog
We don't chase every trend. We choose shapes that last: domes, globes, bells, tubes, petals and stacked stone. Every design lists its diameter and height in inches, with centimeters alongside, and most come in several sizes.
Every light is wired for US homes, 110-120 V, and connects to a standard ceiling junction box like any fixture.
A light for every room
- Dining room: one wide pendant centered over the table, 30 to 34 inches above it, to gather the light around the people sitting there.
- Kitchen island: two or three pendants in a row, 30 to 36 inches above the countertop.
- Living room: a pendant hung lower over a coffee table or a reading chair, instead of one flat ceiling light.
- Bedroom: soft, filtered light in the center, and bedside pendants in place of table lamps.
- Bathroom: slim pendants on each side of the mirror, around eye level.
- Entryway and hallway: one striking shade to set the tone as soon as the door opens.
