Description
About ten petals of rattan cane webbing, each edged with a thin black steel wire, fan out in a star around a glowing center. No two petals face the same way. Walk around it and the whole piece seems to turn, open and close depending on where you stand.
The Ravello rattan chandelier is named after Ravello, the village perched high above Italy's Amalfi Coast, whose clifftop gardens open suddenly onto the sea far below.
Switch it on and each petal becomes a small translucent screen, sending the light off in its own direction. The ceiling picks up a burst of crisp shadows that reaches well past the fixture itself. The cane filters the bulb into a warm, golden glow. The room feels larger than it is.
A large petal chandelier in three sizes, from 24 to 39 inches
All three sizes are generous: 24", 31" and 39" wide (60, 80 and 100 cm). The 24" covers a standard dining table, the 31" suits a long table or a kitchen island, and the 39" is made for a stairwell, a living room with a cathedral ceiling or a large entryway. In those tall spaces, this rattan chandelier fills the volume instead of only lighting it.

A cane rattan chandelier for rooms that want one bold piece
Rattan cane is the open woven webbing you may know from chair seats and headboards. Here it is mounted petal by petal on a fine frame, which keeps the piece airy despite its span and lets light pass through every petal. Over a dining table, it gives a soft, scattered light rather than a hard downlight. It pairs with raw wood, travertine, polished concrete and limewashed walls, in organic modern, Mediterranean or boho interiors.
Each petal is set by hand, so the angle of the petals, and the shape of the whole, varies slightly from one piece to the next.

Hanging height & installation
Over a dining table, leave 30 to 34 inches between the tabletop and the bottom of the shade. Over a kitchen island, 30 to 36 inches. With nothing below, keep at least 7 feet of clearance.
The light connects to a standard ceiling junction box like any fixture. If you are not comfortable with wiring, a licensed electrician will install it quickly.

How do I choose the right size?
Over a dining table, pick a shade about half to two thirds the width of the table. Over an island, two or three smaller shades usually look better than one large one. Send us your measurements and we will tell you which size fits.
Is the bulb included?
No, so you can choose your own warmth. Most designs take a standard medium base E26 bulb; the socket is listed under Materials & dimensions. A warm white LED around 2700 K brings out the weave and the stone.
Will it work with US wiring?
Yes. It is wired for 110-120 V, the US standard, and connects to a regular ceiling junction box.
Can I mix designs in a pair or a trio?
Yes. Choose Pair or Trio, then add any designs and sizes you like: the discount counts every light in your cart.
Will mine look exactly like the photos?
Very close, not identical. Rattan, rope and stone are natural materials, so the weave, the veins and the tone vary slightly from one piece to the next.
