Description
Thin rattan slats run straight up and down between three evenly spaced rings, forming a clean, architectural column. Inside, an opaque diffuser wraps the bulb and softens it before the light reaches the gaps in the rattan. Choose the light finish, in the natural beige of the cane, or the black finish, where matte dark slats sharpen the vertical lines.
The Murano rattan pendant light is named after the island in the Venetian lagoon, in Italy, famous for centuries of glassmaking and the glowing lanterns that came out of its workshops.
Switch it on and the diffuser glows evenly from within, while the slats cut the surface into fine vertical stripes of light and shadow. There is no glare, only a soft, steady column of warmth. The black version reads more graphic, and the light version blends into pale wood and stone. Either way, the column draws a calm vertical line through your room.

The smaller size measures 6" across and 13" tall (16 x 33 cm), a good accent light over a nightstand, in an entryway or in a tight cluster. The taller size, 7" across and 17" tall (18 x 42 cm), holds its own alone or hangs in a row over a kitchen island or a long counter. Hung in a row of three at even spacing, either size sets a clear vertical rhythm, especially under high ceilings.

Hanging height & installation
Over a dining table, leave 30 to 34 inches between the tabletop and the bottom of the shade. Over a kitchen island, 30 to 36 inches. With nothing below, keep at least 7 feet of clearance.
The light connects to a standard ceiling junction box like any fixture. If you are not comfortable with wiring, a licensed electrician will install it quickly.

How do I choose the right size?
Over a dining table, pick a shade about half to two thirds the width of the table. Over an island, two or three smaller shades usually look better than one large one. Send us your measurements and we will tell you which size fits.
Is the bulb included?
No, so you can choose your own warmth. Most designs take a standard medium base E26 bulb; the socket is listed under Materials & dimensions. A warm white LED around 2700 K brings out the weave and the stone.
Will it work with US wiring?
Yes. It is wired for 110-120 V, the US standard, and connects to a regular ceiling junction box.
Can I mix designs in a pair or a trio?
Yes. Choose Pair or Trio, then add any designs and sizes you like: the discount counts every light in your cart.
Will mine look exactly like the photos?
Very close, not identical. Rattan, rope and stone are natural materials, so the weave, the veins and the tone vary slightly from one piece to the next.
